    Requirements: 
  • Literacy and numeracy
  • Rubber boots (Gumboots/Wellingtons - not supplied)
  • Must wear other PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as directed (supplied)
  • Photo ID (e.g. drivers licence)

    $450 per person (group discounts and/or Govt subsidies may be available on request)

    About the Training: 

    Basic Chemical Handling is a two day course which includes a blend of theory and practical application of chemicals. The course covers chemical safety, understanding Safety Data Sheets and labels, Calibration, types of chemicals, types of application methods and gives the participant a general understanding of Chemical Safety and Application.
    The assessment is based on direct observation as well as completion of written activities. On competence participants will receive a Statement of Attainment.
    This course would be beneficial to employees that may occasionally handle chemicals under the direct supervision of somebody with a full Chem Cert.
